Process

Unit Preview Video: Watch the Discovery Education Video – "Earth Science Land and Water" (20:00)

Complete one of the following options:
- Discovery Education Concept 12.1 – “Mechanical and Chemical Weathering” and complete the Guided Questions (MS Word)

Attend the Weathering Lecture or Watch the Video (MUST fill out the Graphic Organizer/Guided Notes to earn credit.)

Complete one of the following "Elaborate" options:
- Complete any three (3) mini-labs from the Weathering section of the 216PC Elaborate – Weathering Labs (MS WORD) document
- Go to the Weathering Gizmo and complete the associated Gizmo Worksheet (MS Word)
- Go to the Discovery Education Exploration – Mechanical/Chemical Weathering and complete the associated worksheet (PDF).
- Complete the Chemical/Mechanical Weathering Picture Sort Activity in class (Not in 2024)
