1. Explain (using diagrams as appropriate) a process by which one form of energy is converted into another form to improve the lives of humans. If the process is multistep, does all the energy get converted into the same form or multiple forms? Is any energy lost? (Hint: Use one of the items found during the Elaborate assignment Scavenger Hunt)
2. Discuss one example of energy being converted into a less useful form than in its original state.
